Do I really need to hack my phone to install this?
Yes. This is the very first necessary thing to do. If you don't do this and you have a non-official compatible phone, then you won't be able to install and play it. The tutorial already gives you the ability to install any UNSIGNED application.

Why do I get "Certificate Error" and I'm not able to install?
Read the answer above.

How can I back up my game progress, save data?
Always make a back-up of all the files and folder in ("C:\private\20007b39"). Then place it back again, overwrite, to bring it back. This is good when updating the N-Gage application or changing phones.

Does this fix the 50 friends bug? (as of N-Gage 1.01 Build 1296)
Yes.

Will this fix 10,000 points bug? (as of N-Gage 1.01 Build 1296)
Yes, it will. As the developers told it, this is just a temporary fix.

Is there a full screen fix for my phone? (176x208 / 320x240 / 352x416)
As of now, there is no fix for this. I don't know if someone will ever find one. Let's just wait and hope for the best.

I cant log in to n-gage arena anymore, it says "invalid player name or password"?
This is due to that your IMEI and some informations on your phone are also embedded on your account. Back-up all the files and folder in "C:\private\20007b39". Then place it back again. I don't think this will work when changing phones, because of the IMEIs conflict. You will need to "un-hook" your phone account to your IMEI, by asking for the administrator on the official N-Gage forum.

How can I play in landscape mode on my phone?
I suggest you not to do this, because this is sometimes the culprit of having an "KERN-EXEC 3" and or "USER-EXEC 3" error. But if you really insist, I suggest you change this file before you play or open your N-Gage application FOR THE FIRST TIME. Use n73_20001079.txt for Pre-FP1 phones. But if your phone is FP-1, try using n81_20001079.txt. If it still doesn't work, use either 6110_5700XM_6120c_20001079.txt or n82_20001079.txt. Then, try to delete this file: ("C:\Private\10202be9\persists\20001079.cre").

I can't play the game that I want, it says "KERN-EXEC 3" or "USER-EXEC 3" error?
This is sometimes due to improper 20001079.txt placed on your phone or there is nothing placed yet. If your phone is Pre-FP1, use either the 20001079.txt for 3250, E70, N73, N93 / N93i, I prefer the one for N73. If your phone is FP1, use either the one for 6290, N76, N81, N95 / N95i / N95 PR2, I prefer the one for N81. If this doesn't work, it is sometimes caused by the different hardwares and softwares of the phone. Some phones can't play all the games (non N-Series and E-Series phones). Try asking on where you downloaded the game and see if they have a fix for this.

Why am I having "System Error"?
Sometimes these are due to misnamed access points. Always check for it and access points should not have " ' " (apostrophe). Just to be sure, do not place any special characters on it.

Why does it say "Out of memory"?
I suggest that you restart your phone before (not necessarily after) playing any N-Gage games. A fresh restart means -> fresher, cleaner memory RAM of the phone -> cleaner memory RAM, means faster phone response (loading). And N-Gage 2.0 takes a lot of RAM to start. This should also fix the error "Not enough memory". And make sure that there's no much applications eating your memory on the background.

Can I update my profile and play on the arena?
You can set your N-Gage profile, update online, and play on N-Gage Arena. But I suggest not going to, keep in-mind that every software/application that is cracked is illegal, and some people are having problems with it.

Can I have both cracked and legit games?
Yes, you can.

Why can't I install a game that I want, it says "File Corrupted"?
If you've followed my tutorial, you won't have this kind of problem. Just make sure that you've followed everything CORRECTLY! And if you followed it, and this error appears, this is sometimes due to corrupted game file that you've downloaded, make sure you've downloaded it correctly, properly and is found working.

Do I need to do the chapters again to install games?
No. You just have to repeat chapter 3 when installing games for the N-Gage 2.0.

Do I have to install N-Gage_Patch.sisx every time that I'll install a game?
No. You only have to install this once and this will work for all BiNPDA cracked N-Gage games.

The extract N-gage file to PC button doesn't work?
The extract to pc button does not notify you if the file is already extracted, it is extracted at the same directory where you've opened the .exe game installer.

Can I uninstall HelloCarbide after I'm done with it?
Yes, you can if you think you won't need HelloCarbide anymore. But I suggest not to, cause we are going to need it in backing up files.

Will this work on other S60v3 phones? (Samsung, etc.)
No. As far as I've known, this is only for Nokia phones.

Will this work on S60v2 phones?
Definitely, NO. The one important file here that let's N-Gage application run is the Symbian OS PIPS, that is only available for S60v3 phones. Saying that, it won't be able to run on S60v2 even if you repack it. Let's just hope someone could hack it. And the other thing is the RAM that N-Gage application eats, 10~20Mb RAM. As far as I know, the largest S60v2 RAM has is only 15~20MB of RAM, and that is N70. Still it won't work.

PART 3
HACKING YOUR PHONE

STEP 1: Open LCG X-plore in your handset and enable Show Hidden and System files/folder. (Click: Menu> Tools> Configuration> Then check Show Hidden files and Show system files/ folder> Press back)

STEP 2: Download “Secman_&_Hellocarbide_Hack.zip (click here).” Extract zip to your computer desktop. The Zip file contains 3 folders: Hellocarbide Hack, BinPDA Secman Hack and Extracted app trk files for newer firmwares.

STEP 3: Open the Hellocarbide Hack Folder. It has 2 files: Hellocarbide.sisx and CapsOnOff.rar. Extract the rar file within the same folder.

STEP 4: Copy the Hellocarbide.sisx and applicable CapsOnOff folder to your phone memory card.

STEP 5: Install the Hellocarbide.sisx to your phone. Do not open yet.

STEP 6: Open X-Plore, leave it open in the background by pressing the menu key of your phone.

STEP 7: Open Hellocarbide, Press Option> Menu1> Yes.

STEP 8: Open X-Plore from the background by press and hold the menu button of your phone and select X-Plore.

STEP 9: Go to the CapsOnOff folder in your phone memory card and copy the CProfDriver_SISX.ldd file to C:\sys\bin (Open CapsOnOff folder, highlight CProfDriver_SISX.ldd, press menu> copy, then go to C:\sys\bin then press file> Select)

STEP 10: Exit X-Plore, Restart your phone and install both the Caps On and Off.sisx to your phone memory card. Now you will have acess to system directories every time you open “Caps Off”. To turn off system file access, open the application “Caps On”

STEP 11: Donwload “Ngage_All_Files_and_Installservers (click here).” Extract to your desktop. Extract the *.zip file which is applicable (the type-device) to your phone. Copy the Installserver.exe file to your phone memory card:

-Symbian 9.1 for Pre-FP1 Phones
-Symbian 9.2 for FP1 and FP2 Phones
-Nokia_3250_5500_E50_E61.zip for the said Pre-FP1 phones)

STEP 12: Open “Caps Off” in your handset, locate the Installserver.exe file and copy to c:\sys\bin



PART 4
INSTALLING THE N-GAGE 2.0 APPLICATION TO YOUR PHONE


STEP 1: Donwload “Landscape_for_5700_&_other_phones_without_front_cam.zip (click here).” Extract to your desktop. Link your phone to your PC using Nokia PC Suite. Copy the “20001079.txt” file from your desktop to your phone memory card. Open the “CapsOff” application in your phone. Open X-plore and highlight the “20001079.txt” file and press SELECT> Edit> Copy. Go to C:\private\10202be9 and press Select> File> Select. WARNING: If it says “Overwrite file?” DO NOT OVER WRITE THE FILE, click cancel and exit. If there is no 20001079.txt in your phone, it will be copied.

STEP 2: Donwload “Ngage_Installer_v1.10_Build_1318_by_Ketya4u.rar (click here).” Extract to your desktop. Copy the three files to your phone memory card: “Ngage installer v1.10 Build 1318 by Ketya4u.SIS”, “N-gage.Fixes.SIS”, “NGagePatch.SIS”.

STEP 3: Click and install the “Ngage installer v1.10 Build 1318 by Ketya4u.SIS” on your phone memory card, Keep on pressing CONTINUE while the application is installing (this will take time and patience).

STEP 4: Install the “N-gage.Fixes.SIS” and then the “NGagePatch.SIS” file.

STEP 5: After the installation of the 3 files, exit X-Plore and open/click the “CapsOn” application.

STEP 6: Open the N-gage 2.0 folder, do nothing and exit the N-gage 2.0 application. This will create a folder named “n-gage” in your phone memory card “e:\n-gage”

STEP 7: Restart your phone.

CONGRATULATIONS. YOU NOW HAVE N-GAGE 2 INSTALLED IN YOUR PHONE J



PART 5
INSTALLING THE N-GAGE 2.0 GAMES

STEP 1: Download N-gage 2.0 games. Extract in your desktop and look for the “*.n-gage” file

STEP 2: Link your phone again using PC Suite, and Copy the “*.n-gage” file to the N-gage Folder in (e:\n-gage)

STEP 3: Open the N-gage 2.0 application, in the MY GAMES tab, you will see all the games newly copied to the e:\n-gage folder. Click it and install.

STEP 4: After installation of n-gage 2.0 games, restart your phone.

STEP 5: Open N-gage 2.0 application and PLAY YOUR GAMES.
